Arques July 15, 1868 in Book A of Agreements, p. 305

1872-02-26: Charles Avy deeds to Justo Sotello “Avy’s School Land”

Charles Avy deeds to Justo Sotello, consideration $400; the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section No 28, Township No 13 S. Range No 6 E of Mount Diablo Meridian also a strip of land lying between the Northern boundary line of the above piece of land and a deep gulch containing 10 acres more or less and extending in length along said Northern line to its full width and immediately adjoining the same and bounded and extending as marked and by the parties hereto and being a part of the land knowns as "Avy's School Land" situated about 7 miles SE from Hollister in said Monterey County, State of California.

The words "quit claim and forever "quit claim" erased before signed sealed and delivered in presence of NC Briggs.
